Printable teacher appreciation candybar wrappers

The end of the school year is rapidly approaching
and my kids have lucked out with
great teachers this year.

We're always on the lookout for simple ways
to express our gratitude
to those teachers who give it their all.
So I wanted to share a free printable
for an easy way to thank
all those wonderful teachers out there.

This is the perfect size to wrap around a giant candybar.
Just add tape on the bottom to keep it closed.
There are a few different color options,
so just pick your favorite and print!

Spring in Utah

Seriously?!!

I was totally not expecting snow this morning!
Especially since it's almost JUNE!

In other news,
sorry I've been MIA.
We are having so much fun with our new little one.
He's 7 weeks old
and already 11 lbs 13 oz.
I can't believe how fast he's growing!

The shop will be closed until August. Hope you all have a fantastic summer!

He's here!

Me, 39 weeks pregnant:

Well, I no longer look like this!

And we had an extra Easter basket at our house this year!

We were thrilled to welcome baby Chase into the world
on Friday, April 2nd at 12:57am.
He weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz, and was 21.5 inches long.
(I was glad he was a week early,
he was definitely big enough!)

We are all doing great and absolutely loving this little guy,
even when he does keep us up all night long!

Tutorial Tuesday: T-shirt shrug

Have you ever thought about turning an old t-shirt
into a cute little shrug?

Cut out and Keep shows you how to do it right here!

It looks really simple, and I love the end result!!

Button earrings

Did you know that you can turn a pair of cute buttons
into gorgeous earrings?

Stop by Trey and Lucy for instructions!

Easter Egg Topiary

Looking for an inexpensive and simple Easter craft?
Check out this Easter Egg Topiary from
The Woman who couldn't sit still:

Super cute!!
And most of the supplies came from the Dollar Store too!

Tutorial Tuesday: Carseat cover (tent)

I have seen these carseat covers everywhere,

and knew I wanted to have one for our baby.
But they can be pretty pricey,
so I was happy to find these tutorials!
I finished up my own several weeks ago
but we haven't taken the carseat out of the box yet...
so no pictures of mine just yet.

The first tutorial is from While They Sleep
and can be found here.

The next tutorial is from Hippos and Dinosaurs,
and can be found here.

And I also really like this one from Small Fry and Co,
you can find it here.

These would make a great and simple shower gift!

Tutorial Tuesday: Changing Pad and Wipes Holder

I'll admit that right now I'm partial to tutorials for baby items.
Especially since I've got less than a month before our little one should arrive.
So I may just attempt this (just not in pink),
even though I have a million other things to do
before we're ready for him to come!

But you have to admit that this is a great idea!
You can find the tutorial from Cluck Cluck Sew right here.

PS Since items from my shop are made after orders are placed I want to make sure that all orders are able to be shipped before my baby arrives, so my shop will be closing for maternity leave probably at the end of the week. Be sure to place your orders before then!

Last Giveaway before maternity leave!!

Hurry and stop by Girly Giveaways for the chance to win
a $25 gift certificate to my shop!

This will be the last giveaway I'll be doing
before I close my shop for maternity leave,
so be sure to go enter.

Love this song-- All About Your Heart by Mindy Gledhill

Last February I attended a benefit concert for NieNie
by Mindy Gledhill.
My very favorite song of the night wasn't available anywhere.

Clip of my favorite song from the concert:

But I just found it on Playlist.
I'm so excited, I just love this song:
