Tutorial Tuesday: Valentine's Day Wreath and Mail Pouch

I'm running behind again today.
My little guy has been running a fever
and just not feeling well.
So today has been another day for snuggling and comforting.

But I still wanted to share these fun Valentine's Day ideas with you.

First up is this gorgeous wreath from The Thriftress.

I shared another craft made with toilet paper rolls
and this one is made of paper towel tubes!
Would you ever guess?!
I am just in love with the fact that
you're using something that would just be garbage anyway.
And it's super cute to boot!
You can find the tutorial here.

Next up is this darling Valentine Mail pouch from At Second Street
featured at Or So She Says.

It's a knock-off of a Pottery Barn item, which I always love!
You can find the tutorial here.

And since Valentine's Day is coming up so soon, please be sure to place any Valentine orders by this Friday, January 28th. This should ensure an on time delivery. Thanks so much!

Tutorial Tuesday: Planket (Pillow/ Blanket)

Today we're having a stay at home day
because my daughter is sick.
It's a perfect day to snuggle up with a nice warm blanket
and watch a movie or two.

This planket (Pillow + Blanket) from The Crafter's File Box
would be just perfect for days like today.

You can find the tutorial here.

Tutorial Tuesday: Hanging Storage Baskets

I don't know about all of you,
but I'm really wanting to get my house organized
now that the holidays are over.

So when I saw this storage basket tutorial
I knew it was something I had to share with you all.
These baskets are perfect in a nursery, toy room, or even an office or kitchen.

What a cute way to add extra storage!

Tutorial Tuesday: Faux Metal Art

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and holiday season! It was hard going back to "real life" but we're back in the swing of things now.

Over Christmas break we've been doing some changes on our kitchen. We now have a new floor and new counters, which I am absolutely loving! But I will need some new artwork for the wall (and a backsplash one of these days too, but that will have to wait). I saw these "faux metal" art pieces over at Suzy's Artsy-Craftsy Sitcom and loved them.

And you'll never guess what they're made of...
toilet paper rolls!!! Awesome!
You can find the tutorial right here.
